Boulder Creek Path

On a hot summer day, the shady creek path is the place to be. Run, walk, bike along the 5.5 mile paved path from Stazio Ballfields in the east to the mouth of Boulder Canyon. The Canyon Path continues along Boulder Creek, beneath steep canyon walls, up to the confluence with Fourmile Creek.

Boulder Farmers' Market

On Saturdays (8am - 2pm) and Wednesday afternoons (4pm - 8pm) from April - November, visitors can find a delicious variety of fresh, local products. Not only will you find fruits and vegetables, but local cheese, honey, wine, bread, meat, and much more. Vendors from local restaurants also offer prepared meals. Located on 13th St between Canyon and Arapahoe.

Pearl Street Mall

In the heart of Downtown Boulder is this 4-block long pedestrian mall with fabulous shopping, dining and entertainment choices. You will find street performers and vendors and colorful flowers nearly year-round.

Eldorado Canyon State Park

Only 10 miles from Boulder, Eldorado Canyon is a renowned destination for climbers and a favorite spot for hikers and picnickers, too. The towering sandstone cliffs provide a stunning backdrop here and scenic South Boulder Creek continues to carve through the canyon. In the summer, you can also visit the historic spring-fed Eldorado Springs Swimming Pool just outside the State Park.

Beer Tastings and Tours

The Colorado Front Range has been called the "Napa Valley of Beer" and has plenty of delicious choices to satisfy your hoppy craving. In Boulder you can visit Avery Brewing Co. , Twisted Pine Brewing Co., Upslope Brewing Co. , Mountain Sun/ Southern Sun, Sanitas Brewing Co. and many more.

Mesa Laboratory / NCAR

Perched on a mesa above town, the National Center for Atmospheric Research, is the place to go to learn about weather and climate. The Visitors Center is open 7 days a week and offers state-of-the-art exhibits and public tours. The view from the Mesa is pretty nice, too.
